In 2022, Meta partnered with creators on Instagram to raise awareness about Meta’s commitment to sustainability. Using Instagram reels and highlighting key insights from the 2021 Sustainability Report, each creator helped draw the connection between Meta and sustainability with entertaining, impactful, and unexpected content.
We partnered with photographer Gina Danza, climate activist and educator Kristy Drutman, and climate communicator and scientist Alaina Wood, all young leaders in the sustainability space.
Each of them brought their unique point-of-view to the reels they created, whether they were amplifying Meta’s water positive goal, talking about the importance of sustainably-operated data centers, or using the 2021 Sustainability Report as a model and educational tool to teach more broadly about corporate accountability.
